Last night we went to Dick’s Sporting Goods to try our hand at climbing the wall. Our scouting den met there for our first meeting of the year.  A number of the kids made it all the way to the top.  Over three stories!  And guess what, Robyn was one of them.  She did great.  It was her second attempt and she just kept going.  Never really looked down and impressed everyone.

My friends in Denver just completed (Hopefully) the Outward Bound Relay. The third year in the row that they’ve done it and the first that I’ve misse. I saw the full moon this weekend and kept thinking of them. I’m sure they did just fine although I wish I ran it with them. Maybe next year.

I ran 12 miles today. Inching closer to my goal of completing the Chicago Marathon. I feel surprisingly ok. Not great, but ok.

That makes 20 miles for the week and 439 for the year.

Next weekend is a 18 mile run. Keep me in your prayers.
